About i-Ready Classroom Mathematics
i-Ready Classroom Mathematics (formerly Ready Mathematics) is a K-8 program from Curriculum Associates designed to integrate tightly with the i-Ready Diagnostic. Each grade is organized into six to eight Units, and each Unit is broken into numbered Lessons. The pedagogy emphasizes a Try-Discuss-Connect routine: students try a problem, discuss strategies, and connect them to formal mathematics. Visuals like bar models, fraction strips, and double number lines appear throughout.
Districts often pair i-Ready Classroom Mathematics with the i-Ready Diagnostic, which assigns My Path online practice to each student based on a placement assessment. Briveli supplements the My Path digital lessons with topic-focused practice grouped by Unit, which is especially useful for grade 4 fractions, grade 5 decimal operations, and grade 6 ratio reasoning where families often look for additional reinforcement at home.
