Go Math! Practice

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Adaptive Briveli practice mapped to each module so your kid drills exactly what they’re working on this week.

About Go Math!

Go Math! is one of the two most-adopted commercial K-8 programs in the United States, alongside enVision. Each grade is built around 11-13 numbered Chapters, each containing 4-12 lessons. The lesson template is consistent: Unlock the Problem (a real-world prompt), Connect (concept-development with worked examples), Share and Show (guided practice), and On Your Own (independent practice). Go Math! has a strong consumable workbook tradition — most schools purchase the student edition as a write-in book — which makes per-chapter practice support unusually portable.

Parents working with Go Math! benefit from Briveli's chapter-level mapping because the Chapters tend to be tightly scoped (most chapters cover a single skill family). The 6-8 Go Math! line uses the same chapter cadence and is heavily aligned to Common Core. Briveli flags the Common Core domain alongside each chapter so a parent can pivot to the standard codes when checking a state-test review document.

Go Math! FAQ

What is the difference between Go Math! and HMH Into Math?+

Into Math is HMH's newer K-8 program (launched 2020) and is replacing Go Math! in many districts. Most chapter titles and the topic order are similar, so the Briveli mapping is generally compatible.

Is Go Math! Common Core aligned?+

Yes. The current K-8 Go Math! editions are explicitly aligned to Common Core State Standards.
