Go Math! Kindergarten Practice
Go Math! Kindergarten is structured as 12 short chapters that follow the same predictable cadence the entire year: introduce the numerals, count and write them, then compare. Chapters 1 through 4 take a full fall on numbers 0 to 10 — first 0 to 5, then 6 to 9, then comparing within 10. The pacing is gentle because Go Math! treats numeral writing as a separable skill, and a lot of K time goes into just forming the digits correctly. Briveli's counting and number-recognition ladders pair to these chapters with short, low-pressure sets.

Practice these Briveli topics: Data
Chapters 5 and 6 introduce addition and subtraction within ten using ten-frames and counters, mapping cleanly to Briveli's add-within-10 and sub-within-10 practice. Chapters 7 and 8 cover teen numbers and counting beyond 20, then the year closes with addition and subtraction with larger groups, classifying objects, and 2D and 3D geometry. Most Go Math! chapters are short enough that twenty minutes of nightly Briveli practice covers the procedural piece a school chapter teaches in three days.
